Wei is a research engineer with Autodesk Research. Before joining Autodesk, he was a research associate at the Computational Design and Manufacturing Laboratory at Illinois Institute of Technology. His work focused on 3D representation of nano-scale structures and automated nano-manipulation.
Wei received his Ph.D. in Computer Science at CAD&CG State Key Laboratory of Zhejiang University. Before that he obtained Master and Bachelor degrees in Computer Science, and, Civil and Industrial Building, respectively, at Shandong University of Science and Technology.
