In this project, David Benjamin explored a pioneering intersection between synthetic biology, architecture, and computation. Combining Autodesk® Maya® and customized scripts to create a prototype software workflow, Benjamin attempts to create composite materials with unique properties thus enabling the exploration of new designs.
