Clotho assists scientists and engineers in the performance of synthetic biology projects. Most importantly, Clotho is an App environment similar to an iPhone in the sense that anyone can create and share new tools.

Using Apps, users can customize their local version of Clotho for a particular look and feel as well as the particular tasks done on their computer. These workflows can be anything including routine data entry and management, computer aided design, automated design and simulation, and sharing data.
