The Autodesk Research Donation Program seeks to support and encourage experimental research in human-computer interaction, computer graphics, and simulation, especially for the creation of compelling graphics, cutting edge design, and other digital visual experiences. Through industries such as media and entertainment, design and engineering, and architecture, a synchronous evolution of the scientific community and Autodesk software is the program's ultimate purpose.
Donations are strictly for academic, not-for-profit research, and cannot be used for general educational purposes. If you are looking for Autodesk software for teaching, Autodesk offers significant discounts to educational institutions. If you are interested in creating plug-ins or other tools that work with Autodesk products, third-party vendors and developers can benefit from the Autodesk Developer Network (ADN).
Whatever the research, Autodesk strongly encourages results to be published in an appropriate, peer-reviewed forum conferences and journals. Autodesk also requests that applicants mention in the Acknowledgement section of the paper, that Autodesk supported the research presented. Also, we would like grantees to provide Autodesk with PDF copies of any publications, along with supplemental material, such as images or movies.
Please direct comments or inquiries to Research Donations. While we attempt to resolve any report problems, support and assistance are not guaranteed.
