Biography
Mark is a multi-disciplinary designer working at the intersection of business, technology and design.
At Autodesk, Mark is responsible for researching and developing new technology into user experiences that influence direction. He leads Design Research in the Office of the CTO, developing new tools for designers, engineers and makers. His research includes leading project Dreamcatcher, a disruptive generative design tool for the automotive, aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries.
Prior to joining Autodesk, Mark led design teams in start-up, client, agency and corporate environments where he utilized his expertise in consumer product design, broadcast entertainment and user interface design. Mark has created products and experiences for Palm, Lucasfilm, LG, Sony and Netflix, including work in feature film, television and games. Mark holds patents for data visualization, interface design and mobile hardware and is a frequent speaker and judge at international design and innovation events.
